Absence & Tardy: Please be aware of The Einstein Academy absence and tardy policies. These policies are put forth to optimize the student's education and allow students to receive all of the information covered in class. Attached is the Einstein Student Handbooks which state our policy regarding absences and tardies. High school students refer to page 6 in the HS Handbook and Prek-8th grade students read pages 4-5 in the Primary Handbook. If you have any questions, please contact your homeroom teacher.
NHS Induction: The Einstein Academy chapter of National Honor Society will be holding its induction ceremony at 9:00am next Friday, October 12, and all members of the community are invited to attend. Past and current members are especially encouraged to attend. This year's inductees are Brooke Bolerjack, Emily Goldenberg, Cody Spiezio, Taylor Rodina, and Olivia Stout. Please put this on your calendar and come out to support our school as we celebrate those students at our amazing school who have shown outstandingScholarship, Leadership, Service and Character!
OCTOBERFEST: Join us for an evening of outdoor fun - a bonfire, games, treats and more! Octoberfest will be held at The Einstein Academy next Saturday, October13th from 6-9pm. If you have not yet turned in your form for the fall family event, please do so by this Wednesday, October 10th. This is a family favorite!
Afternoon at Hogwarts: Join us for an afternoon at Hogwarts! On Monday, October 22, 2018, from 2:30-5:30pm your child can visit Hogwarts! Students will be sorted into Hogwarts' Houses, watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, have a Harry Potter-themed snack, play Harry Potter games, and attend a Potions Class! "Tuition" is $25 per/student or $40 two per/family, and that includes a personalized invitation from Hogwarts!
Picture Re-take: We will be taking an all school Panoramic photo on Wednesday, October 24th. Individual picture re-take will also be scheduled on that day. The proof and order form for the original picture day will be sent home on October 17th, with details on how to place your order. Attached is a parent letter from Picture Day with complete information regarding school photos.
Auction Update: This coming week is crucial for pulling all donations and needed supplies for the Einstein Auction! It is not too late to ask family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to attend the auction, donate, or put in an ad the auction program. If you have not yet turned in your RSVP card, please do so immediately!
Bagel Breakfast Friday: Due to the popularity of our Bagel Breakfast, we will be hosting a bagel breakfast, hot chocolate, and tea EVERY Friday until winter break! The cost of the bagel is $2.00 and the hot chocolate/tea is $1.00. Please remember to bring in your money on Fridays if you want to enjoy a delicious and yummy treat. All proceeds benefit students attending the UK Trip.
